I have just finished tweaking my wiki.  I still can't do everything the way I want to, (having trouble enlarging words, and moving pictures around) but it looks better than before.  Little steps lead to bigger things.  Time to do some other things, talk to you later.
Took the advice of my instrustor and added a picture to the blog.  I am slow but things are coming together.  All learning is not a one time job.  We all have to constantly learn new things and new ways of doing things.

I feel like I m making progress.

I KNOW I WILL SUCCEED

Today I added to my wiki. I was able to upload a file and to embed a YouTube video. It is not an elaborate wiki but not bad for a start. I thank all of you who commented. I know there was not much there to work with. I have opened up a new page today as a tech savvy person. I am now following my son on twitter. He is on a mission trip in Kazakhstan.

The amount of web 2.0 sites astonishes me. I personally like the one where you can make a vivitar of yourself. Transfering a voice to ones site is also interesting. As I mentioned before I have joined twitter and have joined two groups on Diigo where I have receiveing info on 2.0 for interactive white boards and a group for research in education. I still am a little stiff with moving around sites but I am getting there.
Finally back to the computer. My job has kept me away. The second day of class I was able to retrace some of the steps from the first day. (I probably forgot about half) I finalized an idea for my wiki and did research as to what to add. I began working on it and was able to recall a few steps and get help on those I did not remember. A big thank you for all you helpers for the parts I forgot. Still a little lost but further along than on day 1.

July 10, 2012, the journey begins.  Completed the first day of my class as a tech savvy teacher.  As of now I am lost in the woods or should I say lost in the techno world.  I have always considered myself as a lifelong learner.  I am sure that this is a temporary condition.  I will keep you posted as to the progress that I hope to achieve.
